About Tadjoura

Oud existed long before it was a commercialised product.

It travelled the Silk Road. It filled the homes of merchants, scholars, and kings across South East Asia and the Middle East. It was rooted in traditional practices, and cultural significance that had slowly been forgotten.

Somewhere along the way, the West got hold of it. Bottled it. Branded it. Stripped it of everything that made it what it was.

Tadjoura exists to bring it back.

How It Started

The idea began with Amin, a vision to build something that honoured oud properly in the Western world. The real thing.

The timing wasn't right. Tadjoura was subsequently paused in 2024.

Then he met Cristian. Cristian heard the vision, and there was the first domino. He brought Nabil in, someone he already knew, someone whose instincts he trusted. The three sat down, laid everything on the table, and decided together what Tadjoura could be.

That conversation is what you're holding right now.

Founder & Head of Product

Amin built Tadjoura from a personal conviction. He sources every oil directly from vetted vendors in Riyadh, oversees quality at every stage, and is the reason what arrives at your door is the real thing. Nothing leaves without his approval.

Cristian Robert Radulescu

Creative Director & Brand Lead

Cristian shapes how Tadjoura looks, feels, and speaks. From the visual identity to the way the brand shows up online, he ensures every touchpoint reflects the standard the product deserves.
